2025 Women In Leadership Council

Mission:

We are dedicated to making a better workplace environment for all segments of the industry through awareness, investment, and mentorship of existing and future female industry peers. Our goal is to highlight female leadership opportunities that accelerate personal and career growth development.

If you read this and you are a Women….RSVP to [email protected] to be included in all the Women In Leadership Correspondence, Zooms, Virtual Trainings, Mentorship, Onsite events and much more!! If you are not a women…PLEASE FORWARD this along to EVERY FEMALE CO-WORKER so we can get her connected and growing in our Network!

Southern Wholesalers Association’s board is excited to continue to support women in our industry by organizing the SWA Women in Leadership Council. This group is a compliment to other memberships and groups in our industry. We are proud to be taking part in it and already we have a great group of women involved.

First and foremost we want to work diligently to include all women in every aspect of our industry. We aim to provide opportunities that will reach you in your office or work environment through virtual meetings, trainings and best practices discussions that will benefit us all!

For those attending the 2026 annual SWA Convention on MArco Island, FL, we would like to invite you to take part in the SWA Women in Leadership events. We will have an open council meeting, s guest speaker and reception on Sunday. We will again be hosting a special event for our younger attendees. We will invite young ladies, twelve years and up, to a fun, yet informative workshop/event. This event will be interactive and will give us an opportunity to better educate and involve the younger generation in understanding what we do, the benefits of being in our industry, and the wide range of career paths available to them as they start their high school, entry into the workforce and the trades, or college years.

If you are interested in joining us at SWA in Florida, joining us for quarterly virtual meetings, and helping with any part of the Women in Leadership, please reach out to Terry, Linda or myself. We would enjoy having you involved in this group.

Best regards,

The Women in Leadership Council
