SWA believes in a strong commitment to the future leaders in our industry. The Leadership Development Council was created for this very purpose. It brings together next generation of individuals to learn more about our industry through distributor, rep and factory tours. These tours are excellent ways to increase the knowledge of warehousing, counter sales, showroom sales, product distribution, product manufacturing and how our industry thrives on networking. Education workshops and panel discussions of industry professionals also contribute to the advancement of individual’s knowledge base and ability to contribute more to their companies and thrive in our industry.

“To bring mechanical and industrial wholesale members and vendors together to further enhance the current SWA opportunities for growth, learning, fellowship, and business.” The MPC (Mechanical Products Council) was born out of a need to bring together mechanical & industrial focused wholesalers and vendors. Much like the plumbing side of our business, we feel a dedicated focus on these markets will only strengthen our relationships and businesses through mutual collaboration and teamwork.

The Women in Leadership Council is dedicated to making a better workplace environment for all segments of the industry through awareness, investment, and mentorship of existing and future female industry peers. Our goal is to highlight female leadership opportunities that accelerate personal and career growth development.
